How to get a Macro to launch a program?

Title says it all, im basically trying to get HIDmacros to have it so I can press a key to launch a program. Is this possible? If so could you help me in creating such a thing, I have no clue to do it myself.

The reason I am trying to do this is pretty complicating but basically I am trying to make it so I can change my RGB fans with only a hotkey but it order to do that you need a corsair keyboard blah blah blah but you can change rgb fan patterns if you link the profile to a program, which I can just make a .bat that will just close itself after opening.
