Prepar3d Use

Has anyone used HIDmacros with Prepar3d v2.5. Unfortunately, I recently had to do a complete reload on my system. I was able to save all my HIDmacros .xml files and have one for FS9, FSX and X-Plane and they are working fine. I could have sworn I was able to use HIDmacros in Prepar3d before the system reload but can't get it to work now. I put the FSX simconnect.dll in the HIDmacros main directory and when I run Prepar3d it says FSX quit at the bottom of the HID Macros screen. Nothing happens when I hit the SimConnect button. It probably has something to do with how simconnect works with Prepar3d. I can't seem to find a simconnect.dll file in any of the Prepar3d directories. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I now have FSX Steam Edition and HIDmacros works with that version just not Prepar3d 2.5.

Hi kwbraley,
How did you get HIDMACROS to work with FSX Steam edition?
When I try it I can't get it to connect via SIMCONNECT.
