*Noob* Driving me crazy

Sorry for the dumb question but I just cant seem to get it to work correctly.

Need help with sending keyboard sequences.
Just as a test I created a new macro called "My Name" and the trigger is the space bar on my 2nd usb keyboard which is set to send the keyboard sequence: noob. No matter what I do, I cant get the sequence to be sent. If I click run application and assign it to something random like firefox, it works, so I know its registering the keypress... I just dont see why simple keystrokes are not working for me.

(w8 64, ran as admin)

Can anyone please help?
