Buttonbox Works, but No Output From the App

I have a new problem here. When I press a key on my button box the appropriate input event occurs in the test area. However there is no output from the app. When I press the test key the appropriate action occurs as designed. For whatever reason there is a disconnect present. Any help is greatly appreciated.
