Is it possible to assign a standalone modifier key as an event trigger?
I recently updated my OS to Windows 7-64bit. In doing so, I found that my legacy game controller (Tacticalboard) has been unsupported for years and does not have updated drivers, leaving me without a way to remap the keys. Windows recognizes the device as a Keyboard. I was in the researching the possibility of creating my own keymapping utilityfor it, when I came across HID Macros which may serve my purpose pretty well. Unfortunately, I've encountered one issue that I haven't been able to figure out. Two of the key buttons on the device send Shift (event 16) and Control (event 17) as their values, and I cannot seem to get HID Macros to recognize them. Is there anyways to handle these events?
Thanks alot.

Macro Trigger question
Re: Macro Trigger question
I just tried with my standard keyboard and had no problem to assign a macro to shift or ctrl key.
Even triggering worked fine.
Did you try using regular keyboard? Maybe there's something special in the hardware...

Re: Macro Trigger question
Thanks for trying... I was able to get it to finally work by modifying the hidmacros.xml file to trigger on the key up instead of key down.
Thanks.
