Re: How do you script SimConnect
I think you may misunderstand me... I'm not asking about invoking the SimcConnect events. I'm asking about the HIDmacros application itself, spacificly as if clicking on the SimConnect button in the upper left hand corner of the application UI but doing it with a direct command for both starting and...

How do you script SimConnect
Can anyone tell me "How To" script a hotkey to activate simconnect without using a mouse macro? I need to be able to do this without fsx loosing focus.

03 Adding sound to your scripts
Hello, Welcome to the next installment of "scripting by dummies". In this episode we will be looking at a little script snippet the plays a wav file using SAPI.SpVoice and SAPI.SpFileStream objects. If you don't know what they are... don't worry that won't keep you from using them. I'm assuming at t...

02.5 Adding NirCmd to your Arsenal
You may have heard of a little freeware program called NirCmd. I first heard of it right here in these forums. What I didn't hear was just how pwoerful a tool it is when combined with the already amazing HID macros. Well let me tell you with the two of them combined I HID macros can even start my ca...

02 Using Script One Liners to send keys
Ok, Just like we did in "01" we are going to look at using a script to send keystrokes rather than just relying on the "predefined" section "Send Keyboard Sequence". And just like in "01" we are going to look at doing so with the simple HIDMacros "one liner" approach. I'm going to try without the pi...

01 Using Simple Scripts to send FSX Events
We all know that we can easily assign an FSX event to a key by selecting "Send Simconnect Event (FSX)" and picking the event we want from the dropdown box. But many of us (myself included) were a bit confused and intimidated at the thought of trying to figure out how to "Script" an event to take pla...

Re: Any ways to prevent key repeat when holding key down?
Inexpensive (but not free) way to stop the "repeat" or "hold down" feature when mapping toggle switches to keyboard hacks. http://www.flightsimulationguru.com/site/2009/01/01/adapting-a-toggle-switch-to-a-keyboard-hack/ Thanks Guru... I don't know if wiring to a toggle is what you were actually doin...

Menu Key
Hi
I don't know how much work it is to add modifiers... But I would love it if you could include the menu key as output modifier (for use with fsuipc in my case)
By the time I get all the things that I have to use emulated keys for I just don't have enough.
Thanks
