Remapping keys from multiple keyboards

Apologies, I have no idea what I am doing.

I am an accountant and just purchased an external number pad that has a space key. I am hoping to change it into a tab key for an easier Excel experience.

Could someone write me a quick script for this and tell me how to make it work?

The space key is labeled as Kbd2 button 32 ()

The Tab key is labeled as Kbd1 button 9 ( )
